-Based on and adapted from this WarCry post-
First of all, remember that the game was not designed for cumulative Subclasses, therefore a combination will always be superior to others. Likewise, it DOES NOT SERVE to mix the approach of the subclasses between PvP and PvE, as it would be a waste of efficiency. It must be either for one or for the other.

To know in detail the abilities of each Class, check "Downloads and Maps" and download the L2DATA.

Tanks

  • Paladin
    • Made to hold up with Ultimate Defense and shield and heal at the cost of your life. It is usually used to lower the HP to use Frenzy or Guts.
  • Dark Avenger
    • Made for hand-to-hand combat, with its the greatest utility being the Ultimate Defense and the Reflect Damage, since it does not It is as optimal in terms of defense as the Paladin since it does not have good Shield skills.
  • Temple Knight
    • Made for magical defense, with sustain via Life Cubic. Utility based on your DEX and MEN useful for Skills of fighter.
  • Shillien Knight
    • Has offensive Cubics, plus magic defense at have good EM and good STR for damage, being their best advantage against wizards and the strong racial attributes of him.

Fighters

  • Warlord
    • Full-fledged class to mobear, it has the better mob aggro due to Provoke, and has a very good set of Skills pole dance, including Thrill Fight and War Cry.
  • Gladiator
    • Lethal against anything melee and can kiting health from a distance, is very dependent on mana and cooldown of the Skills.
  • Sword Singer
    • Originally designed for PVP, does not yield for PJ of direct use PvP or PvE, but for backpacks / buffer. Can end up being used as the last sub for melees or PvE, but be careful since there are better options.
  • Blade Dancer
    • Same as above.
  • Destroyer
    • Frenzy and Guts are the most important thing in this Class, as they increase P. Atk and P. Def immensely respectively.
  • Tyrant
    • Unavoidable for any Fighter, his DPS contributed thanks to the Totems and Fist Fury are immense, it also possesses WITH high.
  • Bounty Hunter
    • To use with Pole with Spoil, preferable for farm specific drops, since to mobear it is better always the Warlord.
  • Warsmith
    • Lose the Crystallize by putting another sub, for therefore it is only useful for a crafter PJ.

Daggers

  • Treasure Hunter
    • Critical's best combo passives Chance and Critical Power, including Speed.
  • Plains Walker
    • It works for its high DEX, but it lacks Critical Power. It doesn't have Veil, but it does have Fake Dead.
  • Abyss Walker
    • It works for its high STR, but it lacks Critical Chance. It doesn't have Fake Dead, but it does have Veil.

Archers

  • Hawkeye
    • It has balanced damage and crits, and has a good skill set.
  • Silver Ranger
    • Has better critics, but lacks for others sides. Remarkable DEX.
  • Phantom Ranger
    • Made for damage, but has bass critics. remarkable STR.

Magicians Nukers

  • Sorcerer
    • Fire elemental damage, states of burn, AOE and Cancel.
  • Necromancer
    • Dark damage, little WIT and MEN.
  • Spellsinger
    • Deals water and ice damage, and has Solar Flare with Over Hit.
  • Spellhowler
    • Main damage of wind and dark type, notable his Vampiric Claw. Important to buff it with Pony
  • Overlord
    • Short range mage, lots of MEN. He has the better Skills for Mages Nukers, and it is even usable support for PJ Fighter oriented. His buffs are for Clan. They have good levels of Magical Armor Mastery, Heavy Armor Mastery lacking in other classes. Healing CP, and has better Vampire than Necromancer or Spellhowler. Has Soul Cry and Soul Guard, which are useful by increasing P. Atk. and P.Def, BUT they consume a lot of mana.

Summoners

  • Warlock
    • Its value lies in being able to invoke the Kitten, which increases the rate and damage of Physical Crits.
  • Elemental Summoner
    • Its value lies in being able to summon the Pony, which Lowers the reuse time of Magic Skills. It is said to transform mages at automatic weapons... imagine.
  • Phantom Summoner
    • Focused on PvP to tank with the Transfer Pain, and his offensive Cubic.

Supports

  • Bishop
    • Has the best heals in the game without exception and cleanup debuffs.
  • Prophet
    • Variety of casting-inclined buffs Magic Skills, Atk. Spd.
  • Elven Elder
    • Similar to Shillien Elder, but with buffs focused on mana conservation, few debuff cleanups and little base mana.
  • Shillien Elder
    • Buffs focused on magic damage and lift physical.
  • Warcryer
    • Similar to the Overlord, the Warcryer is inclined to buff his Party and covers a very good amount of buffs for fighters. He has Soul Cry which makes him tempting to use on PJ fighter.

Combos for PvP (pker/for agitate)

  • Drain Mage

Overlord + Phantom Summoner + Temple Knight + Elven Elder
Ultra fast casts, with a Drain that crosses everything, drains everything. has exhaust thanks to Elven Elder, he can tank better with Temple Knight and Phantom Summoner, and Steal Essence, CP heals and even more defenses from the Overlord makes such a tough character to face.

  • Melee Archer

Hawkeye + Shillien Knight + Tyrant + Phantom Summoner
Powerful with the bow, and use Skill Judgment and Shield Bash up close with Shield to cancel and debuff the enemy. Tank with PS Nightshade, and Tyrant help with dps.

  • Freezero Archer

Hawkeye + Dark Avenger + Destroyer + Phantom Summoner
The HP is lowered to frenzy and hit very hard with the Bow. huge damage.

  • Powerful Healer

Overlord + Bishop + Elemental Summoner + Elven Elder
Mass HP and CP heals and immense status cleanup, it even has a recharge. In tight? Return/Party Recall. Even more powerful when using the Pony to his advantage. Can bring in Steal Essence (drain from the Overlord) if you need damage in a pinch.

Combos for PvE (pullover)

  • Standard Pullover

Warlord + Tyrant + Treasure Hunter + Warlock
Use his Polearm and Provoke to gather mob trains together, and by getting into a corner or wall you hit everyone at once, it has a lot of DPS due to Tyrant with his Fist Fury and totems and passives, added to the Critics (Rate and Power) of TH. Possesses Warlock to have the Kitten that gives better Crits, and by the way this helps with regen. from MP.

  • Dwarf Spoiler

Bounty Hunter + Tyrant + Warlock + Warlord/Destroyer
Similar to the one above, with the orientation of farming with Spoil instead of generally.

Attributes and Dyes, what are they?

Attributes are the basic characteristics of the character, which are displayed in the game as STR (Strength), DEX (Dexterity), CON (Constitution), INT (Intelligence), WIT (wisdom) and MEN (Mental Strength).

All of these affect differently the combat characteristics of our PC, which are P. Atk. (Physical attack), P. Def. (physical defense), Accuracy (accuracy), Critical (critics chance), Atk. Spd. (attack speed) y M. Atk. (magic attack), M. Def. (magic defense), Evasion (evasion) , Speed (speed), Casting Spd. (casting speed).

The Dyes are to make "tattoos" which can be done in a Symbol Maker. There is a limit of 3 tattoos per PC, and they have certain quirks:

  • The Greater Dye (the ones you should get) are available to use from Level 40
  • Changing Class will remove your Dyes, but you get them back if you go back to that class. class (eg Subclass Switch)
  • You keep your Dyes if you advance to 3rd Class
  • STR, DEX and CON can be used on all
  • INT and MEN can only be used in Wizards
  • INT and WIT can be used on all except Healers
  • MEN and WIT can be used on all except Mystics
  • you can have up to +5 in an Attribute with tattoos +3 and +2. It does NOT work if you try do +4 y +1.

Private servers vary in having restrictions or no, take a good look before planning which dyes to use!
